Volunteer Information

Thank you for your desire to volunteer! We rely upon your dedication to the homeschoolers in Maine. Volunteers who commit to working a total of three hours throughout the event will be permitted to shop at the Volunteer Pre-Sale on Saturday. ONLY volunteers committing to work at least three hours are given this opportunity. Keep in mind that a limited number of volunteers are needed.

Teens! We have a great need for teen volunteers on Saturday to help carry boxes of books, and help with set up and break down. If you have good strong teens, we would greatly appreciate their help in serving other homeschoolers for several hours during these two days!

HOME Requirements to volunteer. . . 

• a desire to serve others 
• a willingness to work hard
• ability to smile, even though you are tired!
• appropriate clothing—you will probably get dirty!
• bring your own meals

We will need volunteers on Saturday to. . .

• carry boxes of books, help collect, sort, distribute, set up, and      organize books

• sort, distribute and organize books, help direct shoppers and assist  those with needs, keep books neat and in their assigned areas,  assist with breakdown and clean up, and carry boxes of books.

If you are a Seller and also want to volunteer, you may sign up via the "My Jobs" button on the bottom left hand corner of your Seller page. To find out about being a Seller go HERE.

If you are not a Seller but want to Volunteer, go to this link. Scroll to where it says "need to register for a non-consigning Worker account." Fill out the requested information including a preferred ID and Password. You will receive a confirmation email. You will then be able to login and choose a work shift. If more than one person in your family would like to volunteer, have each person follow those instructions; if they don't have an email address to register with, please email our volunteer coordinator Tiffany Wilcoxson and give her the names of the additional volunteers. She will be able to add them to the desired shift.
