Welcome to the Homeschoolers of Maine (HOME) website. HOME was established in 1990 as a ministry to support Maine families in their God-given and constitutional right and responsibility to oversee the education of their children. Success is our hope and desire for every family that chooses to homeschool. Our ministry supports the family by monitoring legislation, holding an annual convention, providing workshops throughout the year, publishing our newsletter The Heart of HOME, providing free counseling to new and established homeschoolers, and much more.  We provide this website as an extension of our daily ministry, and hope that it will support you in your efforts to see your children become all they are meant to be! We encourage you to check out all the resources we have on this site. Also check the links to additional homeschool sites that we have provided. If you have questions that the website does not answer, please give the HOME office a call at (207)763-2880, email us at: homeschl@midcoast.com, or use the feedback form. You can visit the HOME office in Hope, ME by calling and making an appointment.

Go to the News and Updates page for the latest updates on the website.
