HOME is Families Helping Families to Homeschool with Confidence! You can make a real difference in the lives of thousands of homeschool families throughout Maine. You and your children can utilize talents and skills in a way that is fulfilling and meaningful. And you will learn new skills and gain experience, too!

 

You can help right from your own home, in the HOME Office, or during an event. You can volunteer for a few hours, as an intern, or all year long. Volunteers, interns and staff play an integral part in helping HOME to serve the homeschool community, effectively.

Calling All Young Adults!

HOME offers opportunities for you to gain valuable training, skills and references for your resume! Help homeschool families in a variety of ways at HOME events, at the HOME Office or from your home! Upon successful completion of an internship, participants will receive a certificate of completion and a description of the work performed. To volunteer for this exciting program, please complete and mail the application form at the bottom of the page.

HOME PORTFOLIO REVIEW TEAM

Do you offer portfolio reviews within the Maine homeschool community, or would you like to learn more about doing so? Do you offer support and information within the Maine homeschool community? Would you like to be better equipped?

 

HOME reviewers are trained to serve the homeschool community in a way that brings blessing, support and encouragement! 

 

HOME needs Maine certified teachers and others, such as homeschool support leaders and veteran homeschoolers, who have a heart for blessing homeschool families, and who would like to use their skills and talents to serve others in this way!

HOME OFFICE TEAM

HOME performs a myriad of office tasks each day in order to continue serving the homeschool community in the ways that are most needed. Administrative duties, phone reception, data entry, as well as many other clerical tasks must be performed every day to keep HOME's ministry in service to others and running smoothly. 

 

HOME needs individuals in these areas to lend a hand. Work from home or at HOME events!
