"Homeschoolers of Maine has been an integral part of our homeschooling journey.  We attended a HOME Convention prior to any of our children entering school because we were exploring homeschooling as an option.  We left that first convention feeling confident that homeschooling was the path for us.  We left feeling more equipped, empowered, and with connections for support to start our journey.  We have, in the past two years since we started, taken advantage of many of the resources HOME has to offer including events, unit studies, mom retreats, portfolio reviews, curriculum consultations, HSLDA membership discounts, and more.  In addition to the support our individual family has received, we have also been able to stay abreast of important issues in the legislature that effect all homeschooling families.  Our involvement with HOME is invaluable and we encourage other families to join, explore, and use the multitude of resources from this amazing organization.  Thank you to all the volunteers in this organization and especially to Kathy Green for her unsurpassed encouragement and support."
